The jump rope is the most underrated, yet powerful, and effective tool when it comes to general fitness. While we appear to be in the business of selling jump ropes, jump ropes are NOT what we are really selling at all. What we aim to provide our “Beautiful People” aka our customers is the opportunity to reclaim their rightful position in their lives as the sole entity in charge of their happiness and destiny. Here at Unconventional Gainz, we VOW to work tirelessly to bring awareness to the fact that consistent exercise has a profoundly positive impact on your mental health aka your “Mental WEALTH” as we prefer to call it.
Exercise is indeed good for the body, but we believe exercise is even better for the mind. Exercise immediately boosts vital neurotransmitters in the brain such as dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine levels—all of which are directly responsible for mood, focus, and attention. Regular exercise also relieves tension and stress, boosts physical and mental energy, and enhances well-being through the release of endorphins. Therefore, we prioritize the mental benefits of exercise over chiseled abs and killer biceps. Studies have shown that consistent exercise can treat mild to moderate depression as effectively as antidepressant medication. Exercise is a natural and effective anti-anxiety treatment and is also one of the easiest and most effective ways to reduce the symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Furthermore, exercise has the power to achieve these benefits without any nasty side effects.
